A Haven in the English Countryside
Solihull Care Home - Lady K Care is situated in the tranquil, glorious countryside near Solihull. We are two miles from Knowle and Balsall Common, and five miles from Solihull Town Centre. We are extremely proud of our Solihull Care Home that has consistently had very good QCQ care inspections.
Almost 50 people live in this thriving community, where we offer residential care and sheltered housing in a safe and caring environment, with 24-hour on-site care and assistance.
Lady Katherine Housing and Care is set in a collection of early 18th century buildings that have been extensively modernised into beautiful apartments which cater for the needs of our residents. Community lounges, a dining room and a hair dressing salon complement our accommodation.
Our collection of buildings surrounds a charming courtyard which forms a peaceful meeting place for our residents and their visitors and leads to our extensive gardens.
Lady Katherine Housing and Care offers a secure and caring environment which is adaptable and able to meet the individual needs of every resident. We provide personal care with choice, respect and dignity, and the opportunity to form long, happy and rewarding relationships within a caring community. Lady Katherine Housing and Care is open to both single people and couples who are in sympathy with our ethos.
A Unique Community
At the heart of the community of Temple Balsall is the Anglican Parish Church of St Mary the Virgin, which was built in the 14th century as the chapel of the Knights Hospitaller. During the 19th century the church underwent a major refurbishment by George Gilbert Scott. The Old Hall, former preceptory of the Knights Templar in Warwickshire is also part of this diverse site. Lady Katherine Leveson C of E Primary School is also located nearby.
Many of our residents are involved in the parish and support and enjoy the activities of our school.
